Marsiliana is the “grand vin” of the estate, a wine made from the selection of the best grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot from estate property vineyards. A smooth, intense wine, it is the maximum expression of the international Bordeaux blend and the deep, warm power of the Tuscan coast.

Taking a sip of this wine is as intimate an experience as listening to one’s own heartbeat. It is a deep, dense midnight blue with an intense aroma whose complexity comes from the three grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. It is calm, smooth, and almost hypnotic. Its opulent bouquet fills the senses with mallow, thyme, fresh balsam, incense, and musk, dreamlike notes that intertwine with black cherry, juniper, cassis, and juicy plum. In the mouth it is rich but not tiring, soft and round but interspersed with saline notes, like a bite of dark chocolate with Maldon salt flakes. It is dense and velvety, and the dark fruit flavors make for a full, profound, yet impressively elegant palate with prevalent balsamic flavors and vigorous tannins. Finishes with hints of eucalyptus and cacao. Has a Mediterranean character and Tuscan spirit. Food pairings: classic, braised wild boar or roasted pigeon with Port wine reduction.
Fermentation lasts 16 days with a max temperature of 28° C in open air tanks.
